How to upload video on YouTube from computer

Step 1. Save the video to your computer.

While the video is uploading you can easily edit both the basic information and the advanced settings of the video, and then can decide if you want to notify subscribers or not. This decision clearly depends on the creator. (And, in the case you uncheck this option no communication will be shared with your subscribers).

In the meantime when the finishing process is going on, you can start filling out the details and customizing the settings. A progress bar will be shown at the top of the page to give you an idea of how long you'll have to wait before it's finished processing, which will depend on how large your video file is as well as your internet connection. Step 7. Enter all the details.

Step 8. The final step is to publish your Video to Viewers

Click Publish to finish uploading a public video to YouTube. In the case, when you set the video privacy setting to Private or Unlisted, just click on “Done” to finish the upload or click Share to privately share your video.

Step 9. While Uploading Keep Private.
